ODROID-N2 is a new-generation single-board computer that is more powerful, stable and capable than its predecessor N1. The main CPU of the N2 is based on a Big.Little architecture that integrates a quad-core ARM Cortex-A73 CPU cluster and a dual-core Cortex-A53 cluster with a new-generation Mali-G52 GPU. Thanks to the advanced 12nm silicon technology, the A73 cores run at 1.8Ghz without thermal throttling with the standard metal chassis heat sink that enables a robust and quiet computer. The CPU multicore performance is about 20% faster and the GPU 10% faster than the N1. The large metal chassis heatsink is designed to optimize CPU and RAM heat dissipation and minimize throttling. Other special features of the single-board computer (SBC) include passive cooling, playback of 4K/UHD H.265 videos at 60 fps, Gigabit LAN, USB 3.0, eMMC support, and compatibility with the latest open-source Linux operating systems and Android.
